Last week, Lee's class at Holy Cross went on their first field trip of the year to Mrs. Connie's farm. We had no idea how great of a treat this would be for us. We were warned to wear play clothes and boots, since would be getting dirty. This immediately appealed to Lee, and he couldn't wait to pick out his clothes and get on his boots! He chose these cute camouflage overalls and was ready to go!
Thanks Aunt Clara for the cutest overalls! Lee loves them!
While at the farm, the kids got to gather eggs from the hen house,
feed 2 baby calves with a bottle,
take a ride on Mary Kate's pony,
take a hay ride to the pumpkin patch,
choose a pumpkin to take home,
pet and feed a horse,
and best of all, go fishing!
The highlight of Lee's day was getting to catch his very first fish! I'm pretty sure Lee is ready to go live on a farm now. He had the best day and was not ready to leave!
