Spice of Life

On Friday night, we went to a restaurant that has an ice cream machine available for dessert. We haven't been there in a long time, but Lee did not forget about it. It was a nice little incentive for him to finish his supper. After he and Matt were done, they went to get their ice cream. It was a much larger portion than Lee would have gotten at home, so I doubted that he would finish it. Not only did he inhale the whole bowl, but he asked for more. Matt told him that he didn't think he needed any more after such a big bowl. Lee looked pitiful and said, "But Daddy, it's the spice of life, don't you know?"
